Annika Völtz

Annika studied in Germany and has earned both her Bachelor and Masters degrees in areas specializing in how physicality and movement can promote personal development in a holistic way, as well as pedagogy for special needs children, childhood development and the science of sports. Annika is an internationally accredited life coach and has a Trainer License B in Equestrian through the German Equestrian Federation.

 

In her own words she is:

Todd Statham

Todd is a chaplain at UBC Okanagan where he works with students, staff and faculty. Since completing a PhD at McGill University, Todd has worked in Germany, Malawi and Canada as a lecturer, pastor, researcher and teacher. He’s found horses to be a wonderful resource for helping students heal and grow in body, mind and soul. Todd is an active volunteer, serving on the boards of Kelowna Christian School and The Stanford and Priscilla Reid Trust as well as serving his church denomination (Christian Reformed) in various capacities. Married to Annika, they share many adventures and parent their three children, two cats, six horses and often a few other young people who find their way into their lives.

Ian Cull

Until he retired Ian was with UBC as Senior Advisor to the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Principal on Indigenous Affairs. Prior to that he served as Associate Vice President, Students, at the UBC Okanagan campus from 2005 to 2020. Before then he served as Vice President (Students) at the University of Winnipeg, as Dean of Students at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS, and as Director of Counselling Services and Services for Native Students at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON. Ian has significant experience in Project Management and Integrated Planning, Board Governance, Program Assessment and Risk Management. He is a member of Dokis Indian Band located on the Dokis Indian Reserve in ON.

Laura Cull

Laura earned her B.A. (History) and Honours Bachelor of Social Work before working in child welfare. She then since spent several years in banking, fund development and estate and trust administration. Laura has been a long time volunteer, often in leadership roles, lending her expertise to enhance and grow various charities. She enjoys connecting with donors and has a passion for horses and the horse-human connection. Laura also devotes a great deal of her time to fostering for her local cat rescue.
